Bath Fan & Speaker In One

Homewerks Worldwide has developed a bathroom exhaust fan with bluetooth music streaming capability.  The fan will move 90 cfm at a noise level of only 1.5 sones.

I didn’t realize music in the bathroom was such a thing!  Previously I told you about the Kohler Moxie Showerhead (here) that streams music along with the water.  (See what I did there?)  Before that I told you about the Amerec’s Ipod Shower Docking Station (here).  I guess no one sings acapella in the shower these days.

I’ve not experienced one of Homewerks’ fan speakers, but I think it’s an intriguing idea.  According to their site, it will link to your bluetooth enabled smartphone, tablet, etc. up to 30 feet away and automatically sync with that device when in range after the initial connection is made.  As with the Kohler Moxie, I’m interested in the sound quality when it competes with the devices primary function… in this case moving humid air.  If we get the opportunity to install one, I will let you know what I think.  If you’re interested, it was listed for $145.64 at Amazon and $115.15 at HOS.
