Taken at the National Cemetery in Minneapolis on a June morning as it appeared in the
Minneapolis Star/Tribune.
Take a moment on this Veteran’s Day to consider what our veterans have sacrificed for all of us throughout the years.

I have the utmost respect for those that give back to our country through the armed services. Please accept my sincere gratitude for your efforts in the protection of our nation.

Fran,
I would love to help you with that, but unfortunately the picture came to me in an email. All I know about it is what I credited in the post, i.e. that it appeared in the Minneapolis Star Tribune. It is a moving picture, isn’t it?
Thank you for your family’s service to our country. It is my sincerest wish that your sons return to you from their duty unscathed. Please thank them for their service for me.
Kevin
Fran,
You asked about obtaining a copy of this picture when I used it in our blog. I was contacted by the photographer, Frank Glick, who asked to be credited on the photo. You can contact him at http://www.liketophoto.com about obtaining a print.
Once again, thank you for your family’s service.
Kevin
