Easterday Construction Co., Inc. completed construction of a new facility in Plymouth for Pioneer Auto Sales. This project was completed using a Butler Building Company (BMC) Pre-engineered Metal Building with an MR-24 standing seam roof. Prior to the construction of their new facility, they had been working out of a portable office trailer. This left them without ADA compliance and did not give them the image they wanted.
This site was formally a Quick Auto location that had gone through several other former lives including one as a laundromat. While this site was in better condition than the first Enterprise site, it still required major renovations to bring it up to their standards. We reconfigured the office layout, removing interior walls and much of the interior ceiling system. We installed new lighting, new carpet, ceramic tile, acoustical ceiling tile, doors and finished hardware. The existing bathroom was reconfigured and brought up to ADA accessibility standards.
This site was formerly a mexican restaurant and an ice cream parlor in its last incarnation. It had the arched brick windows and door openings from its origin as a mexican restaurant. It had a walk in cooler and the restaurant paraphenalia was still there. The two existing bathrooms were too small to meet ADA standards. There was no garage. The roof was in poor condition.
In 2003 we came back and added a parts counter window accessible from the waiting room and adjacent to the parts storage area. This added a convenient access point for the customers and the parts manager to interact directly without the need to walk through the traffic in the service area. This not only enhanced the customer experience with convenience, but also served to increase safety by taking pedestrian traffic out of the vehicle traffic in the service bays.
We were the successful bidder for the Community Room addition to the Kewanna Fire Station. This was a public bid project and was completed as a government contract under prevailing wage rules.

Easterday Construction Co., Inc. has completed several renovation and remediation projects at Garden Court West. This facility is one of Garden Court’s earlier projects from before we became involved with the organization. There were apparently issues with poor soils as settling was found under some of the slabs. We stabilized these slabs and remodeled the affected rooms to bring them back up to Garden Court’s standards.
